Range Management for Drought Times

Decision Making Points for Managing Range in the Face of Drought. Drought is a part of the natural cycle in the Great Plains. Decisions made now will affect forage production in the future.
Have Pat Reece, Range and Forage Specialist, and Jenny Nixon, Sioux County Extension Educator give you the information you need to make better decisions. April 24, 2003 at 1:00 pm in the Security First Bank King Room, is the date, time, and place.

Pat and Jenny will give you the information you need to: understand how native grasses respond to drought, learn critical issues for understanding how individual plants and plant communities recover from drought, and discover key points to help you make management decisions for your rangelands, drought or no drought. There is a small registration fee. Contact the Sioux County Extension Office at 668-2428 for more information and to register.
